Ingredients

2 oz Old Scout American Whiskey

.75 oz Lillet Blanc

.75 oz Simple syrup (1 to 1)

.50 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

2 Dashes of Peach Bitters

3 Mint Leaves

Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients in an ice filled Boston Shaker. Shake thoroughly then double strain into a chilled rocks glass that is filled with ice. Garnish with a twist of Orange.

The Handsome Devil is our signature drink at Lucky. I was inspired to create this cocktail because I had been drinking a lot of Lillet Blanc and hanging quite a bit with Johnny Foster (AKA, The Handsome Devil). Little did I know that it would be featured in the Southern Living book “Bourbon and Bacon.”
