This cocktail, created by Neil Roche at Hard Water in San Fransisco, is a winner. If you’re in the area, head out to Pier 3 and check out the impressive collection of vintage American whiskeys and awesome architecture.
1. 5 oz Old Scout bourbon
.5 oz Salers Gentiane aperitif
.5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
Stir in a mixing glass for 15 seconds. (They under stir because it’s going on ice.)
Strain on fresh ice.
Garnish with a bruised mint tip.
